# 딕셔너리

`딕셔너리` 데이터베이스 엔진은 구성된 모든 [딕셔너리](/ko/reference/statements/create/dictionary)를 읽기 전용 테이블로 노출합니다. 쿼리에서 일반 테이블 구문으로 딕셔너리 데이터를 읽거나 조인해야 할 때 유용합니다.

## 데이터베이스 생성

```sql theme={null}
CREATE DATABASE dictionaries
ENGINE = Dictionary;
```

## Usage

데이터베이스를 생성한 후에는 구성된 딕셔너리 이름을 테이블 이름으로 사용합니다:

```sql theme={null}
SELECT *
FROM dictionaries.products;
```

이 데이터베이스에는 자체 테이블이 없습니다. 이 데이터베이스의 테이블은 서버에 구성된 딕셔너리이므로, 데이터베이스 내에서 테이블을 생성, 삭제, 변경하는 작업은 지원되지 않습니다. 딕셔너리 자체는 [`CREATE DICTIONARY`](/ko/reference/statements/create/dictionary) 또는 서버 구성을 통해 관리하십시오.
